Waterloo Regional Police are asking people who live or drive near Chesapeake Crescent in Waterloo to check their cameras.
Suspects got into a home there at about 3 a.m. on Monday by smashing the glass in the front door, police said in a release issued Monday evening. A resident was home at the time. No physical injuries were reported.
The suspects were last seen travelling northbound on Chesapeake Crescent.
Police are asking residents and motorists to review dash camera, residential security camera or other video footage recorded between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on September 7 for any suspicious people, vehicles or activity. Note that the window police want is the two hours leading up to the break-in, not after it.
