Three TTC routes lose their weekday service today for the season.
On the 200 Toronto Zoo, the transit agency says weekday service between the Toronto Zoo and Rouge Hill GO Station will end for the season, citing fewer people travelling to the zoo during the fall and winter months. Weekend and holiday service will operate as usual.
The same applies to the 201 Bluffer’s Park and the 203 High Park: weekday service ends today, weekend and holiday service continues.
The three seasonal endings are part of the TTC’s September board period, which took effect on Sunday and is in force for its first full weekday today. That package also added three new routes — the 145 Belfield, the overnight 345 Kipling and the overnight 373 Royal York — and removed weekday service on the 45B Kipling branch between Kipling Station and Carlingview via Belfield, which the new 145 replaces.
Dozens of other routes have schedule or routing changes in the same period, including work around Warden and Pape stations. Riders can check current times on the TTC’s routes and schedules pages.
