A stacking spinner toy sold online has been recalled in Canada because it poses a choking hazard to the young children it is meant for.
The recall covers spiral spinning toys with coloured platforms in three, five or seven level configurations, with yellow plastic balls decorated with animal heads and a basket at the top. The notice states the toys “contain small balls and are intended for children under three years of age, posing a potential choking hazard.”
Health Canada says 660 units were sold in Canada between September 2025 and June 2026. As of September 1, 2026, the company had received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
The distributor named in the recall is SHEIN Distribution Canada Limited, based in Markham.
Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled toys immediately and to keep them away from children. Recalled products should not be given away or resold.
