Costco Canada is recalling select Rossdown Meal Starters Black Garlic Chicken Breast Chunks over undeclared soy, an allergen that was not listed on the product’s label.

The recall covers two lots of the Rossdown Farms & Natural Foods product (item #295021, UPC 6 28000 60094 7): lot 2461263, produced Aug. 10, 2026, and lot 2461272, produced Aug. 19, 2026. The chicken chunks were sold at Costco warehouses across Canada between August and September 2026.

Costco and Rossdown warn that people with a soy allergy or sensitivity should not eat the product, saying in the recall notice that “consuming products to which you are allergic or sensitive may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.” No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.

Customers who bought the affected chicken can return it to any Costco warehouse for a full refund, no receipt required.
