Samsung’s official U.S. mobile account took a direct swipe at Apple on Tuesday, posting a one-line jab timed to Apple’s first foldable iPhone launch this week.

“Let us know when you’re done reheating our leftovers 😉,” @SamsungMobileUS posted Tuesday afternoon, without naming Apple directly. The timing made the target obvious: Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo, its first foldable phone, days after Samsung shipped its eighth generation of folding hardware. Samsung has sold folding phones since the original Galaxy Fold in 2019.
The post has since pulled in millions of views and tens of thousands of likes and reposts, with replies splitting between people cheering the dig and others telling Samsung to “do your own thing.” A few pointed out that Samsung itself borrowed the folding concept from earlier Android and Chinese manufacturers, and that Apple’s version, dual displays and all, is arriving to a market Samsung has spent six years and several redesigns getting right.
Corporate accounts trading barbs is nothing new in tech, but this one lands square in the middle of a real product cycle: Apple’s foldable debut is the biggest hardware move either company has made this year, and Samsung clearly isn’t letting it pass quietly.
