A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle collision on Queenston Road in Hamilton on Saturday morning.
Hamilton Police say the crash happened shortly after 11 a.m. on Queenston Road above the Red Hill Valley Parkway. Paramedics transported the rider to hospital with what police describe as “serious, life threatening injuries.” No age or other details about the rider were released.
Queenston Road was closed in both directions between the north and south Red Hill Valley Parkway exits for several hours while the Collision Reconstruction Unit examined the scene.
Investigators are asking drivers who were in the area to check dash-camera footage, and nearby homes and businesses to review surveillance video.
