Brantford Police say a 53-year-old Brantford man has been arrested and charged following a 2023 sexual assault investigation.
Police say the case stems from an incident reported on April 27, 2023. Investigators said the arrest followed continued investigation and “the advancement of investigative techniques.” On September 9, 2026, the accused was arrested and charged with sexual assault, kidnapping, assault, overcoming resistance to commit an indictable offence (attempt to choke) and forcible confinement.
As with all criminal charges, the allegations have not been tested in court.
