On the morning of August 15, a man fired a gun toward a home near Major Mackenzie Drive East and Angus Glen Boulevard in Markham around 6:20 a.m., then fled on an e-scooter through a nearby golf course, York Regional Police said. Investigators found evidence of gunfire and damage to a vehicle at the scene; no injuries were reported.
Nearly a month later, York Regional Police’s Firearms Investigations Team is asking the public for help identifying the suspect and has released photos of him. No charges have been laid.
